June 2004
Newsletter

Sue, Tom, Merle, Gretchen, Tim, Sandy, Claudia, Barb, Dewey, Dick and the boys at Burns Const. Co. on Rt. 70.

Hi Everyone,

A lot of you have been e-mailing and calling me as to why I quit writing Mon Valley's Newsletter. Over the last few months when I sent in my Newsletter to the State,  it was being changed, things left out, the letter was changed around, and my words were changed. Since I sign my name to what I write, this is a total violation of my Rights, my Freedom of Speech which is in the United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights.

I always thought ABATE was here to fight for our Rights, but yet they took mine away.

I did send in a letter for June. It read: Please go to www.monvalleyabate.org to read the un-cut and unedited newsletter.  But it wasn't printed.

So if anyone out there would like to take a stab at writing Mon Valley's Newsletter, please contact me and we'll get ya all the info you need.

If you do decide to write the Newsletter and it gets changed in any way, remember you will ALWAYS have your FREEDOM OF SPEECH here!

 Sincerely,

And last but not least...to quote a friend from Delaware...
                                "
The enlightened read.  The others go to parties."

Bill of Rights

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
